This isn't Apocalyptic it's Dystopian

This virus is bad, before I go further I wanted to say this. I believe people have died and that a cure needs to be found. However, I do not ascribe to the dire situation that the leftist want us to see.

The leftist in the government, news, and entertainment sectors, have us believing that the world is going to hell due to Covid. Every case is counted like cancer, every death is announced as though preached from a pulpit. Yet, when people recover, no one bats an eye. Celebrities have had this, and when they announced it, the news screamed it from the mountain tops. Those same celebrities recovered and it gets mumbled about quietly, in the distance, while someone else is screaming about the number of deaths. The media keeps getting caught lying about the situation, fabricating how full the hospitals are, or spreading viral videos from nurses only to discover it wasn't a nurse, just an actor. But, why are they doing through this charade?

For years now, since Donald Trump was elected, I have seen a lot of authors, publishers, book sellers, and snotty intellectuals elude to this presidency as a dystopia. They make direct connections to 1984 as a reference to how bad it is under Trump. This only demonstrates that they either misunderstood the entire point of the book, or they didn't read it. However, that has taken a backseat to a new prevailing thought, we are in a apocalyptic situation. Authors and non-authors out there joke about how this world is disintegrating into the likes of which is only seen in Zombie horror films and fiction. This, again, shows ignorance and misunderstanding the situation. However, truly most of these people only joke about this, they aren't entirely serious. However, I see us in an actual dystopia, but not due to Trump. Let me explain.

While we have years of belly aching babies whining about Trump winning the election, telling the world that we have gone Orwellian, I say we have entered Hunger Games.

People are stuck at home, but no longer is it by their will. People are scared to leave not because of some virus that has a 98% survival rate, but because the gestapo will arrest them. People who leave their homes to do anything that is not authorized movement risk the police arresting them, or at the very least giving them a hefty fine. The governor of Kentucky wants to restrain anyone who dares to leave their home against the governments wishes.  We get daily reminders from the media, from celebrities, and from our government, that staying home is saving lives. Over and over they repeat it, now in commercials, on the news hourly, all over social media, we are told the same thing. Remember how the President of Panem repeated the atrocities of the war that led to the districts? This isn't telling us what is for our own good, it is turning fiction into reality through repetitive discourse. If it were this bad, why has Michigan,  Tennessee,  New York, and many other places begun laying off medical staff? If this were the dire situation with overrun hospitals, why lay medical staff off? Even the most basic medical worker can be of help at a time of true need. The reality does not match the fiction.

We are on the cusp of districts. Okay, maybe not that close yet. However, everyone is scared to leave their homes. Crossing state lines is for truckers and government officials. The Democrat rulers of this nation want us terrified of stepping one foot out of line. However, not everyone is stuck at home. "Essential workers" are allowed to leave and do their jobs. Even the most despotic nations in history required their workforce to keep food and supplies of necessary items running. Typically this turns into a class system, or a district system if you will. The workers keep the population fed and clothed so that population can be ruled. Non-essential stuff is forbidden. Not only does this keep a lot of people sitting at home, waiting for the nanny state to feed and cloth them, it crushes freedom in the heart. The freedom to go and buy a big-screen television or eat lunch out with your friends is a part of the heart of America. We don't have to check-in to the government to go to church or have lunch at Denny's...until now. Those marked essential are allowed to work, they are districts 2-12, each with their proper place of operation, with their proper job, and always for the glory of the government that graciously allows them to be slaves of importance. Think I am overdoing this? Think again, Michigan governor Whitmer has revealed the hand of the leftist in restricting things that confused a lot of people. While we are supposed to just be in temporary time-out, people went to home improvement and gardening to pass the time. Wait, no, that is too much personal freedom. Whitmer made buying any gardening stuff a crime, and non-essential home improvement stuff is also off limits. You can change a light-bulb, but you can't repaint a room. (But, she still allows buying lottery tickets, because state lotteries have historically lined the pockets of democrat scum.)

Fake Freedom is one of the most important parts of any dystopian society. The feeling you have a choice, when you really don't, is a ploy of despots. North Korea holds an election for their dictator...but you only have one choice. Iran held elections for their leaders...and choosing the wrong option risked your life. Are we there yet? No, but it is getting closer. Democrats have us secluded and scared, now comes the fake freedom, voting. Voting for our leaders and laws has been one of the hallmarks of American Freedom for almost 250 years. Keeping that alive seems to be a good idea. But, wait, lets do this from home. Let our democrat overlords collect those ballots and then count them. Sounds good, right? My entire life the Democrats have been caught in almost every important election harboring paper ballots that were against them, holding them from being counted. And, they also have been caught filling out ballots themselves in the names of dead people or even fake people.
Don't believe me, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, I could cite more, but that is more than enough to prove my point. The Democrats what you to 'feel' like you still have freedom, while in reality they have crushed it.  


Resistance is the key to freedom. Not only resistance from the oppressed, but recognizing resistance from the oppressors. At first, when this all started, the state recommended we stay home. Some did, some didn't. Suddenly AOC and her ilk went through cry-baby sessions on twitter about people gathering, and the next day we are ORDERED to stay home. We showed a lack of obedience to our masters and were punished. Now, Trump is looking at ending the months long stuck-at-home order, and does so by citing the overwhelming evidence that the virus is in the decline and so is our economy. Immediately the leftist act like they are the most brilliant scientists and tell us why we MUST continue to obey. They demand we do this for as long as possible, years in fact. And, for some reason, they make sure to tell us we must continue this through the election...which raises all sorts of red flags. Our resistance shouldn't be guns and knives, but doing what is right for freedom and not listen to our oppressors. Go back to work when this is lifted by Trump, properly protest the evils of the leftist using this to crush us, be Americans and break down the walls of the districts before it's too late.
